2Korean Closed Beta had 7 phases. First one had open registrations on the official website and 400 people were selected from an estimated 142,000 that applied. Second phase had no additional registrations (testers were selected from previous applications). Third phase had a limit of 2,500 and one could register through the official website and various external sites (GameShots, BBSGame, GameZone21, JudeAngels, AdenaHill, PlayForum, and DreamOnGames).

Fourth phase had no open registrations but around 5,000 testers were chosen from the previous pool of applicants. Fifth phase had 15,000 people in total with registrations up on GameMeca, a Korean gaming webzine, with applicants accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Sixth phase recruited people from GameZone21 and PlayForum limited to 10,000 testers.

Seventh phase had a limit of 5,000 with open registrations on the official website with applicants accepted on a first-come first-served basis, and finally the Open Beta was completely open and unlimited for all.
